QUANTRON-X
Five live competition arenas, a student innovation expo, and a full day of robots built to break, race, float and follow the line. One national stage, Class 5 to Class 10.
A full-day national stage for competitive robotics
QUANTRON-X is The Darrels Group's national-level robotics and AI expo, hosted at Holy Cross School, Balai Gach, Siliguri. Teams from across Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and partner regions in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal bring robots built to fight in the sumo ring, score on the soccer pitch, race the relay track, paddle the aqua channel and trace the line course — all on one day, across two tracks running in parallel.
Alongside the arenas, five partner schools present working prototypes at the Student Innovation Expo, judged by an independent panel of engineering professors and industry leads.
- 01Track 1 — Line Follower, Sumo Bot & Relay prelims, Innovation Expo judging
- 02Track 2 — Robo Soccer knockouts, Aqua Bot, live drone & water rocket displays
- 03Finals — Championship rounds across all five arenas, then prize distribution
EVENT SPECIFICATION
Pick your battlefield
Every arena has its own build spec — open one to see the numbers your robot needs to survive.
Five arenas, five disciplines
Each diagram is a live 3D scene — three stacked layers (floor, boundary, moving robot) in real depth. Tilt it with your cursor, or let it turn on its own.
Sumo Bot
Push your opponent out of the ring before they push you. Weight and size compliance is checked at the pit before every match.
Robo Soccer
Wireless bots, one ball, two goals. Frequency-scanned before kickoff so no two matches interfere with each other.
Fastest Lap Relay
A modular PVC circuit run as a baton relay, timed by laser break-beam gates accurate to the millisecond.
Aqua Bot
Two lanes, six slalom gates, one raceway. Bots navigate floating and underwater obstacles to the finish.
Black Line Follower
Fully autonomous bots trace a matte black line through tight curves and acute angles, timed at start and finish.
Five partner schools. One judging panel.
Five dedicated maker booths, each with a working prototype answering a real-world problem. Judged live by three independent engineering professors and industry leads.
22 November 2026 — full day, two tracks
Operational flow on the left, the VIP and management track running alongside it on the right.
Arrival & check-in
Team verification, ID cards, kits, and pit allocation for every arena.
VIP reception; school directors escorted to the briefing lounge.
Grand inauguration
Prayer song, ceremonial lamp lighting, inaugural address by the chief guests and Darrels Group leadership.
Keynote address and unveiling of the Innovation Showcase.
Track 1 — prelims
Black Line Follower, Sumo Bot and Fastest Lap Relay prelims. Innovation Expo judging for 5 partner schools.
Dignitaries, chief guests and school management honored with mementos.
Track 2 — knockouts
Robo Soccer knockouts and Aqua Bot challenges. Live drone and water rocket displays.
Executive buffet lunch for chief guests, school leaders and dignitaries.
Championship finals
Finals across all five arenas, followed by score tabulation.
₹1,00,000 in prizes distributed — trophies, medals and excellence awards.
Closing
Pit pack-up, photo sessions and certificate sign-offs.
Executive send-off and partner network debrief.
Beyond the arenas
Live showcases running throughout the day. Each preview below is an animated 3D scene, not recorded footage — the real thing runs live on-site.
Robotic dog & humanoid
A dynamic live showcase running through the day — a quadruped robot on patrol beside a full humanoid, demonstrating balance, gait and live-response control in front of delegates.
Drone arena
An interactive aerial flight cage with live maneuvers — pilots run figure-eights and hover challenges inside a netted zone, safe for delegates to watch up close.
Water rockets
Multi-stage pressurized launch demonstrations — teams build and pressurize their own rockets, then count down to a full-height launch on the field.
Darrels Group corporate zone
Reverse engineering, 3D printing and AI on display — a working print bed alongside teardown stations, run by The Darrels Group's own STEAM & Innovation Division.
Food & snack stalls
On-premise catering across the pit and arena zones — a steady food and beverage line for delegates between matches, running all day.
